This comperhensive programme addresses both the social (outer) as well as the personal (inner) dimensions of integration to help you lead a purposeful life and work experience in the UK while integrating into your new community. Through interactive activities, individual reflections, peer-to-peer and group discussions, fun games and challenges you will cover the following:

    • Learn about the British culture and communication style
    • Understand how to navigate cultural shock and identity crisis
    • How to uncover our authentic identity in relation to the new environment
    • How to start a purposeful new beginning in the UK
  • Day 2: Get Ready
    • Explore your current world view
    • Uncover your core values
    • Uncover your passions
    • Identify your personal strengths
    • Identify your soft and hard skills
  • Day 3: Get Clear
    • Learn how to effectively work in groups while embodying your strengths to solve real world problems
    • Understand your career patterns
    • 5 Career myths you need to know
    • Identify the ingredients of fulfilling work
    • Identify your career path, goals and options
  • Day 4: Get motivated
    • Identify your gifts to the world
    • Learn about purposeful entrepreneurship and impact
    • Identify the difference you want to make in your community and the world
    • Uncover the leader within and identify your leadership style
    • Explore your personal and life limitations and learn how to navigate them
    • Create and pitch your mission statement that highlights your true potential and current life mission (You can use this statement in your CV to impress employers)
  • Day 5: Get Started
    • Understand the British labour market, work environment and customs
    • Identify the actions you need to take to navigate your limitations and start shaping your future
    • Learn strategic planning and prioritising by creating a career map to help you navigate transition and move forward with confident steps
